Johnathan Gillespie and the Stars win huge

Remembering back to my teenager years, I recall uncles, aunts, grandparents saying “Wow, you’ve really grown since I’ve last seen you.” This exact thought went through my head seeing John warm up on the court. Its been to long. Anyway, it was a privilege to watch my younger cousin play some hoops this past weekend. …

The Smith family

Cole, Kara and Travis had a chance to visit this weekend. While grilling some hamburgers, I managed to snap a few photos of the fam. View the Smith’s family pictures here.

The big two three

March 5th, 2008 marked 23 years for myself. Thanks Emily, Evan, mom and dad for the short visit. It was much appreciated. I would also like to thank the grandparents for the birthday cards and gifts. I always enjoy getting letters in the mail. Thanks Aunt Jan for a huge surprise. Receiving a call from …

Happy 2008

Sunday, the family and I amused ourselves with Apples to Apples. Thanks for making the four hour trip Mom, Dad, Emily, Evan. Bringing in the new year resulted in a 14 to 15 ping-pong loss to Robert. Oh well, I’ve got another 365 days until next years rematch.

Christmas in Westcliffe

I had the chance to go home for a short 3 days to enjoy Christmas with some of the family. The drive home was a mess, but fortunately my 4Runner and I survived just fine. Others didn’t. Lots of pictures from the trip are available here.

The Three Day Vacation

Friday I started a three day break from the constant busy-ness of school and work. My original goal was to pick some town (Hot Sulphur Springs) in northern Colorado that I had never been to, visit it, take a picture, buy a suviener and come home. I didn’t make it to Sulphur Springs. Just before …

The Mashing Feeling

The past few months I’ve been looking around for a device that would combine camera/music/phone. I had the Sony phone for my camera, the iPod for my music, and the T-Mobile Shadow for my phone. Don’t wear these, so carrying around 3 devices is out of question. After lots of reading and research, I decided …

Hastings $1.99 DVDs

After class, I made a stop by Hastings to pick up Joe Dirt for my Oral Interpretation class. Being an older movie, I figured I could find a used copy for a few bucks. Nope, the only copy they had was new for $13.99. I wasn’t to excited about spending $14 on a movie I …

Corgan & The Band

http://www.smashingpumpkins.com/ Wonder how much money made them come out of hiding. Will be a disappointment if Corgan is the only original member. An amusing artist he is, but only holds 1/4 of the band’s character. Even so, I’m still excited.

The Jake Plummer 10k30

I didn’t think homeless people were allowed to solicit in stores like Best Buy. The man needs $10,000 put towards hygiene instead of toys and electronics his kids already have. SHAVE YOUR BEARD.
